Wayne Hansen DC
Dr Wayne Hansen, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, then continued his education with expertise in treating sports-related injuries (CCSP), especially concussion and Traumatic Brain Injuries, (TBIs). Certified as a Graston Technique provider, Kinesio Taping, Ozone injections, and Dry Needling, he is always seeking to expand his knowledge and qualifications. He recently completed Paramedic School for emergency care licensing, to better support the community. As a co-founder of mobile board-certified neurology group, Sensus Diagnostics, he and his team solve challenges of concussion and TBI patients needing quick, accurate testing, diagnosis, and treatment, covering 11 states. As a family man, he also enjoys mountain biking.
Jeffrey States DC, MVCOI
Dr Jeffrey A States, a 4th generation chiropractic physician, serves as an expert witness and consultant on successful Personal Injury (PI) and Workers Compensation cases across the country. Dr States works with physicians, researchers, attorneys, accident reconstructionists, engineers, and others to better understand the PI industry. With a solid grasp of the multifaceted PI arena, professionals can efficiently assist the injured, offering much higher outcomes. Founded in 1996, the Personal Injury Training Institute is the original, extensive, foremost program providing online training, and consulting for daily PI patient needs. Though the Motor Vehicle Collision Occupant Injury Certification program, doctors & professionals are better trained to help injured patients. He loves time with family, camping, golf and mountain biking.


Lawrence Lazzara, Jr, Esq
Lawrence Lazzara, Jr, Esq serves as PIERS Association legal advisory. He is the managing partner of Lazzara Law Firm and the founder of the Advanced Injury Seminar lecture series; a board-approved continuing education program for chiropractic physicians. The speakers educate chiropractic physicians on the intricacies of personal injury law, such as case management, documenting injuries, and effective record keeping. Before founding the firm, Larry litigated criminal cases as Assistant District Attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office in New York City. He is admitted in Arizona, Utah, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, and the New Jersey Federal District Court. Earning his juris doctorate from New York Law School, he continued his education at Temple University Beasley School of Law’s nationally recognized litigation program. Dedicated to giving back to his community, Larry volunteers with Wills for Heroes, drafting wills for Arizona firefighters police officers gratis and loves time with his family.
John Edwards MD
Dr. Edwards received a BS degree in microbiology at Brigham Young University and graduated from the University of Iowa Medical School at the top of his class. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Indiana University, where he trained at one of the busiest and most well-respected neurosurgical practices in the country. Dr. Edwards has been practicing in Utah Valley since 2015 and has performed thousands of surgeries. His use of the latest and most minimally invasive surgical techniques allows patients to heal faster and have the best outcomes. He is a bold and creative patient advocate who collaborates with a broad spectrum of providers to give patients the best available care. He and his wife, Marie, have four loving, energetic boys and welcomed their daughter into their family last June. As a family they enjoy basketball, skiing, golf, and walks around their neighborhood.


Vikas Garg MD, MSA
Vikas Garg, MD, MSA is a double boarded physician, who completed his fellowship in pain management from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, recognized as one of the best programs in country and moved to Utah to provide the most needed specialty in the valley and surrounding area. After completing medical school, Dr Garg spent time in Michigan University, MI obtaining a master’s in health care administration focusing on health policy and administration. He is very active in pain societies at local, national and international level and has written articles for curricula of international spine society. He is very active in research also and has published articles on low back pain. Dr Garg has edited several articles on pain management for online health related websites. He is member of American Academy of Pain Medicine, International Spine Interventional Society. Dr Garg has been involved in PI cases for more than 15 years. He believes in compassionate care and performance of procedures that are most likely to benefit the patient.
Alysha Vardevan DO
Alysha Vartevan DO, the owner and founder of Camelback Radiology, is a double board-certified physician specializing in neuroradiology. Dr Vartevan is licensed in: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Utah. Trained at the respected Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ and serves as the current past-president of the American College of Radiology’s Arizona chapter. Dr Vartevan provides medical education through her work as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Her intention is to further people’s knowledge about traumatic brain injuries. She has held various lectures for health professionals and attorneys explaining the importance of proper
traumatic brain injury protocol for the patient. She loves to travel, experience cultures and cuisines. She spends her free time with her family.
